An advanced technology Xenon lamp that produces a spot-free beam so intense it can momentarily blind an attacker (four times more lighting power than a standard two D-cell flashlight), and its crenellated Strike Bezel allows it to be used as a last-ditch impact weapon. E2D LED Defender®

The E2D LED is a compact, dual-output flashlight with self-defense enhancements. It features a virtually indestructible power-regulated LED emitter and a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. The E2D LED's pushbutton tailcap click switch lets you activate the flashlight and select output level: press or click for a 200-lumen high beam—ten times the light of a big two-D-cell flashlight, more than enough to overwhelm an aggressor's night-adapted vision; release or click off and press or click again for a 5-lumen ultra long-runtime low beam that's suitable for navigating around a dark room or parking lot. The Outdoorsman Series is new for 2005 and consists of two models, the E1L and E2L Outdoorsman flashlights, powered by one and two lithium batteries respectively. The Outdoorsman Series offers a single level of white LED light, operated with a click-on tailcap. The light source is a single-die 3 watt Luxeon LED producing 30 lumens (E2L) and 25 lumens (E1L). The Outdoorsman models are CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum with a natural hard anodized finish of Type III MilSpec standards. They are O-ring sealed against moisture and come with black oxide coated stainless steel pocket clips that easily clip to the bill of a ballcap to make into a handsfree headlamp. ~~~$129.00 ~~~

The E2O Outdoorsman was designed for outdoor enthusiasts requiring a long running, high performance hand-held light that will out perform any other light in its category. Only 4.5 inches long and weighing just 3.2 ounces, the E2O Outdoorsman uses two lithium batteries (10-year shelf life) and a proprietary lamp/reflector design to produce 25 lumens of light--brighter than a much larger two D-cell flashlight--with 2.5 hours of runtime. ~~~ $95.00 ~~~

A2 Aviator® Originally developed for professional aviators -- who needed a light bright enough to illuminate a 747's tail section from the ground, yet not so bright that it would degrade their night vision when used in the cockpit -- the A2 Aviator is perfect for anyone needing a high and low beam in a single long-running flashlight. In other words, it's perfect for campers, hikers, boaters, everyone. Constructed of aerospace grade aluminum with a super-rugged, military specification hard-anodized finish, and powered by two lithium batteries (10-year shelf life), the 5.6 inch, 4.0 ounce Aviator features a high-output incandescent lamp surrounded by three LEDs (light emitting diodes) set in a specially designed parabolic reflector. The Aviator's LEDs are available in five color choices: White, Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow-Green, the latter being the most-used color for aviation cockpit displays. The Aviator's unique digitally controlled two-stage switching mechanism allows the user to choose LEDs for close-up work or the high output lamp for full power applications. Digital current regulation circuitry provides a more consistent (even) level of incandescent light output and color temperature for the useable life of the batteries. Even after the Aviator's batteries have been depleted to the point that they will no longer power its incandescent lamp, plenty of energy remains to power the LEDs for many more hours. The digital current regulation circuitry also extends the life of the incandescent lamp by allowing for a "soft start" instead of subjecting the tungsten filament to the potentially damaging voltage spike that occurs when turning on an unregulated light. ~~~ $195.00 ~~~

L1 LumaMax® Constructed of aerospace grade aluminum with a rugged military specification hard-anodized finish, and powered by a single lithium battery (10-year shelf life), the upgraded L1 LumaMax features a 3-watt LED (Light Emitting Diode), a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) focusing lens, and the extended runtime typical of LED flashlights. The L1's digitally controlled two-stage switch allows the user to choose either a low-output beam for close-up work or a high-output beam for full power applications -- simply depress the tailcap switch halfway for the low beam, continue depressing to activate the high beam. Twist the tailcap to achieve constant light on either beam setting. ~~~ $135.00 ~~~

The L2 also features digital current regulation circuitry to match the LED's current requirements with the battery's output to maintain a more consistent level of light output for the useable life of the batteries (as opposed to unregulated lights, which are subject to a steady decline in light intensity beginning shortly after activation). Compared to incandescent bulbs, LEDs provide extended runtime and extreme resistance to malfunction due to impact. ~~~ $175.00 ~~~ The L2 produces useable light for approximately 18 hours on the low-beam setting; high-beam runtime is approximately 60 minutes. Unlike many LED flashlight manufacturers -- who inflate the light output and usable runtimes of their LEDs --SureFire provides realistic output and runtime specifications based on scientifically obtained measurements. Although any LED - including those produced by SureFire can continue to produce insignificant light output for over 50 hours, the amount of useful light produced is typically of a shorter duration.

The L4 produces 65 lumens of light for over an hour, followed by lower output for over 1.5 hours. Unlike most LED flashlight manufacturers -- who inflate the light output and usable runtimes of their LEDs -- SureFire provides realistic output and runtime specifications based on scientifically obtained measurements. Although any LED -- including those produced by SureFire -- can continue to produce negligible light output for over 100 hours, the amount of useful light produced is of a shorter duration ~~~ $165.00 ~~~
